IRIS Transitional Living is a GARR-certified residential recovery home located in North Atlanta that focuses on providing a safe environment for individuals who are recovering from the disease of addiction.
We are Twelve Step based with our focus on recovery-based meetings, sponsorship, and cultivating life skills for lasting recovery. We understand that everyone in recovery is on a personal journey, and our role is to support, encourage, and guide, with the structure and discipline needed to build a bridge for reintegrating into society.
We also understand because each person is on an individual sobriety journey, our programs have to be flexible enough to provide the right care at the right time. This is why many people come to Iris Transitional Living. And why they progress.
For centuries, the Iris has been used by royalty to symbolize faith, courage, valor, hope and wisdom. It’s a fitting symbol for our community.
Iris Transitional Living offers protection from triggers that can cause relapse, judgements that can create doubt, and stressful situations before you have the tools to handle them.
You’re not alone at Iris Transitional Living. There are others who are on their own journeys. Our group sessions are designed to give you and those around you the tools you need to transition back into society. Shared experiences strengthen these tools, and give you additional support.
Enjoy activities with others on their recovery journey, without stressors you might encounter in other social situations.
While Iris Transitional Living provides you with flexibility in choosing your recovery path, we still support you with structured accountability, including testing, reporting, and review.
